Father's Interpretation of Events

It was August 18, 2000 when the Father put His specific words of request in the mouth of each of the witnesses to physically consummate with His Son, and compelled us both to communicate them to Him. As I look back in my daily notes, I see clearly that before He put that request in my mouth, He prepared me in very specific ways to know that what He had been intimating was of Him; for in spite of the toggling that had appeared to the contrary, the Father was moving steadily and determinedly forward toward the literal event which marked the consummation of all things. A few excerpts from those days of preparation follow.

August 14, 2000
Father, thank You for emptying me completely - every thought, every motive, every desire, every imagination, everything I thought I had.
Thank You for keeping me here - recalled on Your breast, with Your still, quiet mind resting between my breasts, guarding my heart and keeping me forever One with You. [This was from the imagery of S.S. 1:13 - "He shall lie all night betwixt my breasts." All through the obscurity of the unknown, I was feeling the need for His quiet mind to rest on my heart and keep it at peace with His will.] "The Lord is in His holy temple, let all the earth keep silence before Him." So be it. Keep me subdued unto You.
Where He may lead me, I will go
For I have learned to trust Him so.
Come sit with Me on My throne. Judge everything as I judge.
Lead me, Lord, lead me in Thy righteousness,
Make Thy way plain before my face
For it is Thou Lord, Thou Lord only
Who makest me dwell in safety
I will let Your quiet Spirit within me, be drawn out in its desires for You. Thank You for keeping me recalled in Your quietness. I put all My trust in You.
"The fruit of righteousness is quietness and assurance forever."

The Father drew me to a specific Old Testament experience and opened up to me the direct parallel between a symbol in sacred history that God ordained to reveal His purposes, and the current symbol toward which He was leading me. In the Old Testament event, the contest over the symbol of that time, between the powers of light and the powers of darkness, was marked and intense. It appeared that the powers of darkness would prevail, but God had decreed otherwise.

Daniel 2 describes a dream that King Nebuchadnezzar was given in the night, of a large image made of various metals, representing a succession of earthly kingdoms. He saw that a heavenly kingdom would come and consume them all, ending this earth's history. In the morning when he awakened, the dream had been taken from him, though the unsettling impression it had made upon him was not. When the "wise men" of his kingdom could not divine this dream to him, God revealed to Daniel the king's dream, along with the divine interpretation. Daniel told the king,

There is a God in heaven Who reveals secrets, and He has made known to King Nebuchadnezzar what it is that shall be in the latter days.... The God of heaven shall set up a kingdom which shall never be destroyed, nor shall its sovereignty be left to another people: but it shall break and crush and consume all these kingdoms and it shall stand forever...The great God has made known to the king what shall come to pass hereafter. The dream is certain and the interpretation is sure. Dan. 2:28,44,45 Amplified.

Nebuchadnezzar clearly saw the truth. Not only would his own kingdom come to an end, but the coming of the heavenly kingdom would consume and destroy every previous earthly kingdom.

The adversary immediately began working diligently to corrupt the interpretation of the image Nebuchadnezzar had seen. Through the "wise men" of the kingdom he suggested to Nebuchadnezzar that he make a real image like the one he had seen in his dream, except that it be all of gold, and that the king require everyone to bow down and worship it. The adversary had purposed that the symbol ordained by God to communicate His purposes was to be misinterpreted, and that the truth which God had desired to convey be eclipsed.

The symbolic representation by which God had revealed to king and people His purpose...was now to be made to serve for the glorification of human power. Daniel's interpretation was to be rejected and forgotten; truth was to be misinterpreted and misapplied. The symbol designed of heaven to unfold to the minds of men important events...was to be used to hinder the spread of the knowledge that God desired the world to receive. Satan was seeking to thwart the divine purpose for the human race. The enemy of mankind knew that truth unmixed with error is a power mighty to save.... On that eventful day the powers of darkness seemed to be gaining a signal triumph; the worship of the golden image bade fair to become connected permanently with the established forms of idolatry recognized as the state religion of the land. Satan hoped thereby to defeat God's purpose...BUT GOD DECREED OTHERWISE. PK 505-573.

As I read this account, the Father sent those last four words into my heart with great conviction. Immediately He revealed to me the current application of that historical event. The Father told me that He had pressed upon Michael His divine interpretation of The Song of Solomon. He was causing Michael to consummate the marriage of the Lamb in a physical consummation as a living symbol. This symbol was to reveal the real and total consuming of our earthly kingdoms when God consummates His divine marriage union with those who are of Him.

Yet again, the adversary was purposing to corrupt the symbol which the Father had brought to convey His purposes. The vivid parable given by heaven to unfold, through the Son, the Father's true intimate relationship with His people whom He has redeemed from the earth, was to be corrupted with Satan's own tainted perspective, and misapplied as adultery. He had designs that Michael's interpretation of The Song of Solomon and its literal fulfillment be misinterpreted as coming from fleshly desires; and that it be judged as adultery which is common in this day. He was determined that the only thing the people would be able to see was their earth view of this symbol, and not heaven's view of this literal imagery before them.

In Nebuchadnezzar's day, when his earthly image was set up in place of the divine representation he had been shown, and all knees but three were bowing to it, God had decreed otherwise. His divine interpretation of events was the interpretation that would be given to the assembled people. The Father had drawn my attention to this historical event to reveal to me that He was personally seeing to it that this heavenly symbol would be seen and interpreted from His divine perspective. In spite of the adversary's attempts to corrupt this symbol with his own interpretation of it and pervert this living parable, he would not be able to eclipse it with his earth view. The Father was very purposed to bring before the world His own divine interpretation.

Father also gave the reasons why He was so purposed about this symbol.

And the Lord said, for as much as this people [all the churches of the day] draw near Me with their mouth and honor Me with their lips [and say, I belong to God; I am married to Him]but remove their hearts and minds far from Me, and their fear and reverence for Me are...without any thought as to the meaning, [not comprehending the invasive reality of the completely given over, layed down, emptied out state of one in such an intimate union with God], therefore, behold! I will again do marvelous things with the people, marvelous and astonishing things; and the wisdom of their wise men will perish, and the understanding of their discerning men will vanish or be hidden [Their religious reasoning and human wisdom will not help them to pass the test of knowing this is of Me. They will have to know My Voice alone.]." Isa. 29:13,14 Amplified.

Father was saying, Every knee will bow. In Nebuchadnezzar's time Satan was desperate to get every knee to bow to his interpretation of the symbol. In the great concourse of people he flattered himself that he was seeing a scene at the end of the world. In his mind's eye he was not just seeing the greatest kingdom in the world, but the whole world bowing down before his interpretation of the last symbol that would be given to mankind. But Satan is a deceiver from the beginning. The one he has deceived the most is himself. He really knows better, but he would vainly seek to keep flattering himself and the world with his lies. But God has decreed otherwise:

I have sworn by Myself, the word is gone out of My mouth in righteousness and shall not return, that unto Me every knee shall bow...To Him shall all come who were incensed against Him [all those whose self-righteousness was offended at the literal consummation of His Son], and they shall be ashamed. Isa. 45:23,24 Amplified.

The next day the Father brought me into a greater sensing of the vulnerability of naked honesty which deepened what I had already begun to experience before Him.

August 15, 2000
My most precious Treasure - my Faithful keeper,
I just wanted to share these thoughts that came to me this afternoon. Oh, how much I yearn for more of You in my inward parts. "Behold, thou desirest truth in the inward parts: and in the hidden part thou shalt make me to know wisdom." Ps 51:6.
I was awakened from a mid-day rest, to find a deeper spiritual consciousness awakened in me of what it feels like and looks like to be a naked soul before God. It came in a way that I hadn't yet experienced it. I found myself in a place that was so vulnerable and open before God and man that it took my breath away and made me lay there in wonder and awe.
It had been too hot to wear anything while I rested, and my physical nakedness greatly heightened this deepened spiritual sense I was feeling. I literally felt like I was lying naked and unashamed before the whole onlooking universe. The words of a song came to my mind:
Eternal light, eternal light
How pure that soul must be
When placed within Thy searching sight
It shrinks not, but with calm delight
Can live and look on Thee
The spirits that surround Thy throne
May bear that burning bliss
And now before the Ineffable shall I appear
And on my naked spirit bear the Uncreated Beam
What was dawning on me was that my soul was being opened to partake much more deeply of that "calm delight" of being naked under God's loving, searching eye. It was being given me to bear more than I had ever yet been able to bear. I was being given an increased capacity to love nakedness of soul before the God Whom I now know loves me with all of His Heart and Soul and Mind and Spirit, and Whose love I have only recently been opened up to feel in the depths of my soul.
Oh, precious "calm delight" - this new and living way into the Holy of Holies, through the veil, that is to say, through the coverings of the soul - the appointed way into the very chambers of the King of love - where the Messiah is the Negotiator and Mediator of the new covenant.
Christ, the Messiah is therefore the Negotiator and Mediator of an entirely new agreement, testament, covenant, so that those who are called and offered it, may receive the fulfillment of the promised everlasting inheritance, since a death has taken placewhich rescues and delivers and redeems them from the transgressions committed under the old agreement. Heb. 9:15 Amplified.
This is the agreement, covenant, that I will set up AND CONCLUDE with them after those days, says the Lord: I will IMPRINT My laws [my very Being] upon their hearts [feelings and sensings], and I will INSCRIBE [Myself] on their minds, on their inmost thoughts and understanding. Heb. 9:15; 10:16,23 Amplified.
I knew that the Father Himself was causing me to "draw near with true and honest heart, in unqualified assurance, and absolute conviction," brought into being "by that leaning of the entire human personality on God, in absolute trust and confidence in His power, wisdom, and goodness." Heb. 10:22 Amplified. I also knew that my innermost needs will be personally attended to in the wisest and best way,"for He Who promised is Faithful to His Word." Heb. 10:23 Amplified.
Suddenly, the familiar verse "It is a fearful thing to fall into the hands of the living God," was transformed in the light of the chamber of love. Looking into the real meaning of the words brought such joy and confirmation to my heart.
Fearful came from a word which means "to reverence one's husband - to be inspired with esteem which causes one to be softened and humbled before it."
Hands meant "the help or agency upholding and preserving; God is present protecting and aiding one".
Living meant "having vital power in itself and exerting the same upon the soul",
and to fall meant "to drop freely into one's power, in a relation of rest".
As for me, behold, I am in your hands; do with me as seems good and suitable to you. Jer. 26:14 Amplified.

The final day of my preparation the Father spoke the words to me: "Don't call unclean what God has called clean." This was the Father's perspective of the divine instructions for the literal consummation that He was placing before me. He took me to the Scripture where He commanded Peter to do something that he had previously considered unclean, but which had changed because Christ had come and instituted a new order.

Peter went up to the roof of the house to pray, about the sixth hour (noon). But he became very hungry, and wanted something to eat; and while the meal was being prepared a trance came over him, And he saw the sky opened and something like a great sheet lowered by the four corners, descending to the earth. It contained all kinds of quadrupeds and wild beasts and creeping things of the earth and birds of the air. And there came a voice to him, saying, Rise up, Peter, kill and eat. But Peter said, No, by no means, Lord; for I have never eaten anything that is common and unhallowed or ceremonially unclean. And the voice came to him again a second time, What God has cleansed and pronounced clean, do not you defile and profane by regarding and calling common and unhallowed or unclean. This occurred three times; then immediately the sheet was taken up to heaven. Now Peter was still inwardly perplexed and doubted as to what the vision which he had seen could mean, when just then behold the messengers that were sent by Cornelius, who had made inquiry for Simon's house, stopped and stood before the gate. And they called out to inquire whether Simon who was surnamed Peter was staying there. And while Peter was earnestly revolving the vision in his mind and meditating on it, the Holy Spirit said to him, Behold, three men are looking for you! Get up and go below and accompany them without any doubt about its legality or any discrimination or hesitation, for I have sent them. Acts 10:9-20 Amplified.

Peter's vision and the unexpected change in divine instructions caused his whole current of thinking to be reversed; and likewise it was with me. The Father was giving His specific instructions to me because the order had changed since His Melchizedec had come.

Now if perfection, a perfect fellowship between God and the worshipper had been attainable by...the Law...why was it further necessary that there should arise another and different kind of Priest, one after the order of Melchizedek? For when there is a change in the priesthood, there is of necessity an alteration of the law as well...For the One of Whom these things are said...has been constituted a Priest, not on the basis of a bodily legal requirement, but on the basis of the power of an endless and indestructible Life. Heb. 7:11-16 Amplified.

Then the Father spoke the words to me, "Love is the fulfilling of the law." Love for His Voice, His will, His leading, and His purposes was the only thing which could fulfill the law of the Messianic kingdom.

The Fleece

It was at this very time that the Father was again more strongly pressing upon His Son the literalness of the symbol for the consummation of the ages. In The Finished Work Michael shared His personal experience of how determinedly on purpose the Father was that the consummation of the marriage of the Lamb be an actual event.

This act of the consummation would truly be the end of me. I was being consumed and any reservoir of self-consideration would be completely annihilated...My Father was persistent and quite on purpose...I proposed a fleece which would settle the matter in my mind. I believe the fleece was suggested by the Father Himself to my own mind. I agreed on the consummation if certain things were done. First, the very two women I was impressed would be the chosen, would have to come to me, unsolicited and with no seduction or enticement, and request an intimate relationship with me. Secondly, the husbands would have to come to me and yield up their wives for the purposes of the consummation. This would have to be done with no input from me personally or from their wives. I told no one of these conditions. I had never even uttered them verbally in prayer. The participants were, in no way, to be encouraged or led to believe in a personal way that they should fulfill these conditions. It would have to be a spontaneous expression inspired by the Father Himself. Thirdly, the Father Himself would have to arrange for the consummation in a way that I knew it was Him. I accepted this proposal because I felt safe that no such thing would ever occur. I was now satisfied that I was safe from having to do something of this nature. I could not understand this thing and Father was greatly solicitous to help me through it. I felt His great love and closeness, while I also felt like a little nine year old boy in great fear of a task Daddy was requesting of him. I was completely out of my element and greatly urgent that He not make me do this. At one point, in prayer one evening, I had said, "Daddy", don't make me do this." I believed there would be a ram in the thicket. I believed that since Abraham didn't have to kill his son after all, I would not have to enter into this relationship after all...
A few days later, the two women that the Father showed me He had chosen, both came and requested this intimate relationship.Michael
