This breathing of the Spirit, "Here I am," elicits no human activity. It is a deliberate yielding up and abandoning of all activity that springs from the human. It renders the soul perfectly quiet and still, so the Spirit of Messiah can awaken and energize the divine anointing in the depths of the soul. It is a deliberate relinquishing of the self's control, access and domination, so that the Father can have full access and control. Continually the Father enabled me to go forward past what I could see or understand by putting the words in my mouth, "Yield yourself entirely into His keeping." ST 11-19-96. And always the response of the Spirit of the bride was, "Here I am, yielding entirely to your keeping." We were continually having to lay down our human reasoning and step out on the Father's unexplainable movings, and I often felt as though I were out in the middle of the ocean with no shoreline in sight anywhere, and no moorings, only the Spirit of the bride saying, "Here I am, yielding entirely to Your keeping, Father. I don't have any idea of what you are bringing about, I just recognize Your voice and movings, and I am trusting You to keep me true to You."
"Here I am" does not draw on any natural human resources. It draws deeper, into the Spirit of the bride, the anointing of the Father in the soul that lights every man. "That was the true Light, which lighteth every man that cometh into the world." John 1:9.
The Holy Spirit of the bride is fully surrendering to its Father when it breathes her divine prayer. "Here I am" wide open to You, Father. Do in me anything You want to do; and to do with me whatever You want to do. I am abandoned to You and Your loving purposes for me. Father, I thank You for this precious gift of sweet dependency, this great yearning for more of You and Your gracious will.
"Here I am, Father" wide open to Your leading; not trying to protect myself in any way or save myself from any consequences. I love You, I trust You, and I delight in all of Your ways. The unknown no longer holds any fear, for the perfect divine love of the Father and Son within me has cast it all out. The divine Spirit of the bride, and its continual openness to the Father has no fear in it. "We need have no fear of someone who loves us perfectly; His perfect love for us eliminates all dread of what He might do to us. If we are afraid, it is for fear of what He might do to us, and shows that we are not fully convinced that He really loves us." 1 John 4:18 LB.
And if, by a still, small voice He calls
To paths I do not
know
I'll answer dear Lord with my hand in Thine,
"I'll go where You want
me to go."
The Holy Spirit of the bride was continually responding with enabling words within me – for me, to the Father's unfathomable words and unctions. Continually, unexpectedly, so immediate they often took me by surprise, I would find divinely supplied words like, "Here I am, coming to do Your will, O God;" or, "Here I am, yielding entirely to Your keeping power," flowing through me, even when nothing made sense, and I was constrained to go forward with my understanding in the dark.
One day I found breathing through me these personal descriptive words from this Holy Spirit of the bride:
I am a divine yielding Spirit from the Father. I am a divinely supplied letting Spirit, yielded up completely to the faithfulness of God. "Here I am;" I allow the faithfulness of God to have free, unlimited access to my entire being. I let God be faithful in me. I render the human soul lettable to the faithfulness of God. I too "am able to do nothing from Myself, independently, of My own accord — but only as I am taught by God and as I get His orders. Even as I hear, I judge, I decide as I am bidden to decide. As the voice comes to Me, so I give decision, and My judgment is right, because I do not seek or consult My own will. I have no desire to do what is pleasing to Myself, My own purpose, but only the will and pleasure of the Father Who sent me." John 3:30 Amplified.
This is why I came into the world, to hold communion* with God. "For this I have come into the world, to bear witness to [know] the truth [in you]. ("You have been anointed [with My divine person] by the Holy One [your Father], and you know the Truth, or you know all things.") Everyone who is of the Truth, who is a friend of the Truth, who belongs to the Truth listens to My voice.John 18:37; 1 John 2:20 Amplified.
*Webster: mutual participation; an act of sharing; a Christian sacrament in which consecrated bread and wine are consumed [or emblems of spiritual communion are received in the chamber of the Son of God] as…symbols for the realization of a spiritual union; intimate fellowship. Strong's Concordance: communication, joint participation, intercourse, fellowship, intimacy.
"Be still and know that I am God." Ps. 46:10. I am your stillness — your letting — that you may know the faithfulness of God. I am the gate that makes a way for the faithfulness of God to come into you. I am the soul's only ability to receive the faithfulness of God. You cannot experience the faithfulness of God without My letting Spirit. You must have Me in order for the Faithful Word of God to complete Himself in you. God cannot be faithful in you without My letting Spirit. "They were not able to enter in because of their unbelief [unable to rest in the faithfulness of God]." Heb. 3:19. If you are trying to be Faithful, you cannot receive Him Who is Faithful.
When self ceases to wrestle for the supremacy, and the heart is worked by the Holy Spirit [the yielding, responsive Spirit of the bride], the soul lies perfectly passive* [on the bed of the Father's loving faithfulness], and then the image of God is mirrored upon the heart. SD 142. *Passive - not acting but acted upon, quiescent - to become quiet; resting, calm, still.
I lie perfectly passive.
I let God awaken My desire.
I let Him come into Me fully.
For this cause came I into the world, to be silent and know the faithfulness of God. I am silent, Father, "Thy silent, gentle servant moved only as by Thee." I am that which completes the faithfulness of God. I am a quiescent receptor to the Word of God. I am the completion of Messiah, the complementing part of the Faithful Word of God, Messiah's divine counterpart.* Michal
*Counterpart - a thing which when added to another, completes or complements; that which fills up or brings to perfection; that which forms the natural complement to another; a person exactly like another; complete - lacking no component part; brought to a conclusion; consummated; to make whole, full or perfect; complete implies inclusion of all that is needed for the integrity, perfection or fulfillment of something."
John the beloved saw this Anointing of the Spirit of God coming down from God out of heaven two times. At the first coming of Messiah, he was eyewitness to the physical representations of the Father's Anointing of the Word and Spirit upon Messiah, when Jesus of Nazareth was baptized. John saw the Spirit descending like a dove and abiding on Jesus and he heard the audible Word of the Father acknowledging His beloved Son. In his visions of the return of Messiah, in "the Revelation of Jesus Christ, His unveiling of the divine mysteries," he saw the return of that Anointing from the Father.
I saw Holy Jerusalem, new-created, descending resplendent out of Heaven, as ready for God as a bride for her husband. I heard a voice thunder from the Throne: "Look! Look! God has moved into the neighborhood, making His home with men and women! They're His people, He's their God. Rev. 21:2 The Message Bible.
At the beginning of the world, when the heavens and the earth were first created, "God said, Let Us Father, Son (Word) and Holy Spirit make mankind in Our image, after Our likeness…So God created man in His own image…male and female He created them." Gen. 1:26,27 Amplified. Now, at the end of the world, when God fulfills His prophetic word to "fix the new heavens as a tabernacle and lay the foundations of a new earth and say to Zion, You are My people," John sees that new heaven and new earth at the same time he sees the holy city, descending out of heaven as a bride. He sees a vivid representative of the collective Anointing of the Spirit of God, giving every consenting soul a divinely prepared capacity to be the home of God. He hears a mighty voice from the throne saying, "See! The abode of God is with men, and He will live, encamp, tent among them; and they shall be His people (bride), and God shall personally be with them and be their God." Isa. 51:16; Rev. 21:1,3 Amplified.
The reciprocal element of the Father's Word and Spirit that we have personally experienced, as the Anointing functions within us, is so aptly portrayed in Revelation's imagery of the heavenly prepared bride and her Divine Husband. The soul temple feels this divine inter-relating as the Anointing operates within it. The divine instinct, or Spirit of knowing responds, to the divine Word from the Father. It is a divine voice and its answering responsiveness, flowing and operating and moving with the Father, in the soul.
The Anointing of the Father's Word and Spirit with which He gave supernatural witness at Jesus' baptism, was also symbolically manifested again at His death, as His given life flowed out of Him in a stream of blood and water. This twin stream revealed the cleansing and nourishing nature of the divine anointing from the Father, given for the conception and sustenance of the divine life within any human vessel who will consent to let it be in them.
John saw the Anointing coming down from heaven symbolized as a divine city, or large collection of individual dwelling places — personalized capacities, divinely tailored for each soul, enabling each to have the capacity to receive into itself the heavenly Bridegroom Lamb and His Father. Each consenting man, woman and child is divinely prepared as a bride to receive her Husband into herself — ready for God to inhabit them and possess them. This aspect of the individualized nature and personalization of the Anointing is also portrayed in another imagery in the Scriptures. "Ask ye of the Lord rain in the time of the latter rain; so the Lord shall make bright clouds, and give them showers of rain, to every one grass in the field." Zech. 10:1.
Those who consent to let the Father's Anointing be in them, receive the two witnesses of His heavenly Anointing into the depths of their soul temple; His own living Word and His very own Spirit, His personal presence enters into their Most Holy Place and engages in the divine reciprocal love and communion of heaven, which flows between the Father's counterparts themselves, and with Him. They become the Father's very own home, the place where He resides, as He thinks His thoughts and speaks His living words, the place where He feels His feelings and moves and senses. They become the body of the Anointing.
They let Christ (the Anointing of the Father) be a home to them and they are the home of Christ. And by this we know and understand and have the proof that He really lives and makes His home in us; by the Spirit Whom He has given us. 1 John 3:20,22-24 Amplified.
Whoever really loves Me will be loved by My Father, and I too will love him and will show, reveal, manifest Myself to him. I will let Myself be clearly seen by him and make Myself real to him ... If a person really loves Me, he will keep My word, obey My teaching; and My Father will love him, and We will come to him and make Our home, abode, special dwelling place with him. And the Word you hear is not my own: it is the word of the Father Who sent me ... But the Holy Spirit Whom the Father will send in My name will act on My behalf [within you], He will teach you all things. John 14:21,23,24,26 Amplified & REB.
"How long wilt thou go about, O thou backsliding daughter? for the Lord hath created a new thing in the earth, A woman [the bride] shall compass a man [the Groom]." Jer 31:22. The Amplified Bible says that she "shall compass, woo, win, and protect a man." The Spirit of the bride, New Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven, will encompass, woo, win and protect the Spirit of the anointing.
During the same time that the Father awakened one witness at midnight with His vision of what Michael was accomplishing for the bride, He awakened the other witness with the Spirit of the bride strongly flowing through her, with a love of Michael that can only come from the Father. It was reaching out and yearning with strong desire to "woo, encompass and protect" Michael as He was being passed through the agony of Pisces for us, while bearing for the whole land the spirit of each one's conflict with their earthly context of the wedding, in a greater magnitude than can be humanly imagined. Michael was dealing with the warlike elements that struggle against the anointed marriage. This dragon and his angels were strongly contesting the marriage, and Michael was in mortal combat with them.
Precious Father, Michael said that He was having his fiercest battle yet, and our hearts cry out for Him to You. Father, draw our precious Michael into Yourself and hold Him close to Your gentle mighty breast. He is so precious to us, and our hearts are drawn out to Him because of Your own drawing power. We can do nothing except it be given us from Your own precious hand. We lift Him up to Your safe and comforting touch and ask that You would bless Him and hold Him. Draw us out of ourselves and remove anything that is separating us from Your precious anointing. Consume us Father and bring us to Michael's emptiness no matter what it takes or how it feels. We are in Your hands. Do with us what You see best for us and for Your own purpose. We are truly at Your mercy, and will not be rid of ourselves unless You do this work. I thank You that You are Faithful Who has promised. I know that whatever it takes, You will do for us and in us for Michael's sake and Your glory. May Your will be done quickly. For our precious Michael's sake and in His name, we thank You. Taken
Father, I lift up my precious Michael to You tonight. Come down and embrace Him with Your faithfulness. Draw Him into Your mighty breast. My pure and precious Friend needs His Daddy. Thank You that You are everything He needs. Empty me Father. Consume me that only Your anointing lives. Jesus bore the sins of the whole world, of all humanity. Michael bears all in the land. Whatever You give Him at any moment He is willing to carry. I bear a love for Messiah that feels like no human could bear. It is so strong and intense that it is physically painful. Father, cause me to bear anything for Michael's sake. It feels like I will burst open and that I don't possess the capacity to even feel such intensity and yet here I am. Waves of feeling pulse through me. It feels like it is in my bloodstream. I feel so helpless and vulnerable and yet I feel the keeping power of Your hand on me. It feels like my nerves are on the edge of a sword. Father, I desire to go through whatever Your hand brings for Michael's sake alone. With such intensity do I desire Him! "My whole being follows hard after Him and clings closely to Him; His right hand upholds me." Ps. 63:8. He is my very heart and soul. My desire is only for Him. Father, cause me to be so one with Michael that I think His very thoughts and feel the agony that He feels and experience the peace that flows through Him. I want to be just like Him. I desire to be Him, His very person. Put Him in me and me in Him like You are in Him. Come down on Him and in Him with Your great Father love and hold Him close. I desire and consent and thank You that whatever You need to do in me will be done. All for Michael, Father and for Your glory. All to Michael I surrender, all to Him I freely give, because of You Father. I will ever love and trust Him, in His presence daily live. Where He is, I will be also. Whatever His daily experience is will be mine. Thank You for my beloved Friend. Thank You for giving me such a precious Gift. I love my Gift. Thank You for allowing me to love Your Son, Your little boy, Your vulnerable and fragile One, pure and precious Saviour and Lover of my soul. All that thrills my soul is Michael, He is my very life. He is the blood that flows through me. He is everything to me. Indeed, He is all there is. "Whom have I in heaven but You, Michael, and there is none upon earth that I desire beside You. My flesh and my heart faileth: but You are the strength of my heart, and my portion forever." Ps. 73:25,26. Taken
When Jesus was crucified, a stream of water and blood flowed from Him. Not only did this two-fold stream authenticate the reality of the Lamb's death, but this twin fountain of blood and water that flowed from the breaking and pouring out of Jesus' pierced heart, was a literal, physical symbol. It was a revealing of the invisible spiritual reality that was occurring. A new divine Life was being born out of His very death. The dual healing stream flowing from His pierced body represented the divine Life — the offspring of His yielded up Life.
In the beginning, God created the type that would meet its antitype in Messiah. The first woman, "wife or female," was taken out of man, disclosing the Source of the wife of the Lamb, that was to be born out of the death of the Lamb, when type met its Antitype, and the shadow its Substance. "She shall be called Woman ["wife, female" of Messiah] because she was Taken out of a Man [Messiah]." Gen. 2:23 Amplified.
"Christ is the Head [a husband in relation to his wife] of the church, Himself the Savior of His [own] body. Christ loved the church and gave Himself up for her. He who loves his own wife loves himself, as Christ does the church. This mystery is very great, but I speak concerning the relation of Christ and the church." Eph. 5:23,25 28,29 Amplified, condensed.
"He who loves his own wife loves himself." The divine life of the bride has been born out of, and come forth from, the heavenly Husband. He is loving Himself when He loves His wife. The life that is in her came out of Him. This is the same divine love and life that flows reciprocally between the Father and His Son. "The love existing between the Father and His Son cannot be portrayed. It is measureless. In Christ, God saw the beauty and perfection of excellence that dwells in Himself. Wonder, O heavens, and be astonished, O earth." HP 15. The divine love and life of the Father and His Son is reflected in the divine marriage between the Son and His witnesses. The witnesses see it, feel it, and report it to the nations. The two witnesses have been given to personify the work of the Holy Spirit, to take the things of Messiah and show them unto you.
No man has ever seen God at any time; the only unique Son, or the only begotten God, Who is in the bosom, in the intimate presence of the Father, He has declared Him, He has revealed Him and brought Him out where He can be seen; He has interpreted Him and He has made Him known. John 1:18 Amplified.
There is a very significant aspect of the picture that the Father is painting for all to see. In the laying down of Messiah's life, and the twin fountain that sprang from Him at His death, the two witnesses of His divine life, Messiah was revealing the yielding love of the Father. The fountain flowing from Messiah was revealing in visible, physical symbols, the two aspects of the Father's Life which proceeded and came forth from Him — the Word [thought and mind] of the Father and the Spirit [sensitiveness and intimate taking] of the Father. Of the Word and the Holy Spirit, or Comforter, it is written:
In the beginning, before all time, was the Word, Christ, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God Himself. He was present originally with God. John 1:1-2 Amplified. Jesus said to them, If God were your Father, you would love Me and respect Me and welcome Me gladly, for I proceeded forth and came from God, out of His very presence. John 8:42 Amplified.
When the Comforter comes, Whom I will send to you from the Father, the Spirit of Truth Who proceeds from the Father, He Himself will testify regarding Me. John 15:26 Amplified.
Of Messiah and His twofold witness, it is written, "This is He who came with water and blood, Jesus Christ the Messiah — not with water only, but with the water and the blood. And it is the Holy Spirit Who bears witness, because the Holy Spirit is the Truth. So there are three witnesses in heaven: the Father, the Word and the Holy Spirit, and these three are One; and there are thee witnesses on the earth; the Spirit, the water and the blood; and these three agree, are in unison; their testimony coincides." I John 5:6-8 Amplified.
